Abacela

Oregon's most interesting vineyard property. Great wines and a beautiful winery. It was the first winery to commercially grow and produce wine from Spain's Noble Tempranillo grape in America's Pacific Northwest. They also do pizzas in an outdoor oven beginning at 4:00. Great place to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view and enjoy a glass of wine with family and friends.

Douglas County Museum of History & Natural History

Don't miss out on this friendly and fascinating place. This inexpensive museum has a nice variety: farm equipment, wildlife original to this area, hands on projects for children and photos that tell the history of Douglas County and more.

Spangler Vineyards

Exceptional wines in Southern Oregon's Umpqua Valley. A small but warm and welcoming environment with a lot of award winning wines to sample. The staff is very friendly and the impressive "guard dogs" are a must see.

Stewart Park

Stewart Park is a 236-acre regional park. The park is home to the Stewart Park Golf Course, Umpqua Valley Tennis, and Roseburg American Legion Baseball, Music on the Halfshell, and Movies in the Park. In addition to the amenities listed there is also a concrete skate park, butterfly garden and antique steam locomotive.

Waterfalls

You'll enjoy the beautiful Umpqua National Forest while viewing more than a dozen waterfalls along a National Scenic Byway known as "The Highway of Waterfalls." It starts from Highway 138 to Highway 97. The parking areas offer easy access to the trail heads and the hikes are listed from easy to moderate.

Wildlife Safari

This drive-through animal park, Wildlife Safari, is working to preserve and protect the incredible species collection domestically and internationally. With over 400 acres of space for some of the rarest, most endangered and simply coolest species on earth to roam, Wildlife Safari is truly an experience beyond a zoo.
